Final journal

This is my second time attend in Basic English writing class, because I was flunked. So, at this semester beginning, I decided to join this curse again to pass it.

Attending class with freshman was a different experience for me. It is embarrassing and shaming to take the same class with freshman, because I was an unfamiliar person in the class and they probably had some negative idea on me. Finally, I realized that I thought too much, because nobody notices me.

I think that taking again Basic English class is great for me, because I can relearn and know the grammar. However, I was not participating in the class every Friday, because it was hard for me to get up early so some time I would not present in the class. The next semester I wish that the Basic English writing class 1 could start at ten o’clock so that I will not miss any class.

I like the relaxed and carefree atmosphere in this class. I always felt sleepy in the morning but our instructor John could always wake me up by his funny, interesting interaction with students.

My first year in university and first English writing class teacher always left twenty minutes to demand us to finish about 150 lengths composition. I was always the last student left in the classroom. So, I really like the way John teach us by uploading our composition or journal on the blog. It mean I have plenty times to think my composition.

Journal

The last chinese new year is my fist time didn't get any red envolope from my father's family. my parent divorced when I was at elementary school and the curt sentenced children to stay with mother.

Even though we didn't keep contact with my father and their family frequently, only when new year's eve my father would invite me and my brother to eat family reunion dinner at my grandfather's house. My father's family would give me and my brother red envolope for pocket money. So, every years i could get a lot of money from my father and their family.However, my brother was a jerk and rubbish, because he hit my father. The worst thing that has ever happened to me

I remember that event was happened at deep night. I was using computer suddently the phone ringing. my mom answered the phone. It's my father on the phone, he told my mom that
he was hit by your son. My father said my brother and his frends came to his house and asked my father to borrow a car for him. my father refused, because he smelt strong alcohol from my brother. He was so drunk and he was only 17 years old so he couldn't let a drunk and under 20 years old people to drive his car. When my brothe heard he was refused, he became very angry. he said some words to insult my father. My father smack my brother but the action didn't stop my brother. My brother became more furious; he thrown a stone at my father. Certainly, my father run away.

Before that event, every one knew,because my father told to his neighbor and he never invited us to eat reunion dinner.

labor education

Labor education

First time I came to Chaoyang University. I heard about every freshman need to do labor education. I was so confused, because I don’t know what was labor education and what should I did. So I asked my teacher what was labor education. He told me that labor education meant, at school, you need to clean the campus five times a week for two semesters then you can successfully get a university diploma.

Our headmaster believes that if student clean their school they will learn an industrious, thrifty and cooperated in the future. However I don’t agree with these conceptions. It’s ridiculous because cleaning our school is nothing to do with we’ll became an industrious or cooperated people.

Another reason is that we pay a lot of tuitions for school, so I think school can use our money to heir other people. Not only student but also other people would like this decision, because they can get a job and student would have more time to do their own job.

I don’t understand why we need to do labor education, because there is some school’s student doesn’t need to do this job or they just clean their campus once a week. I think that is unfair.

People may believe what they see from the picture. But there are many false imagine in this high technology world today. Anything you see could be false such as picture of the magazine, TV show and the blog’s picture.

We can see many beautiful girls or men on the cover of the magazine. You may think they so pretty, gorgeous, so slender and how do they did such pose. It’s just perfect human in this photo. However, it‘s so easy to deliver the perfect picture; the light, angle and PhotoShop contribute to the perfect picture. So it’s not necessary to envy or admire the model in the picture.

We usually heard someone invited a friend whom from the internet. When they saw each other they thought “Oh my god! Is he or she, the person, l knew on the website!?” That situation will be very embarrassed.

In short, people tend to show the most beautiful appearance for others, sometime they just want to fulfill themselves. We like to see the beautiful people equally.
